Neita Montague, President of the Women Soaring Pilots Association and
recipient of the EAA Young Eagles Flight Leader of the Year, announced that she and the members of the association are to introduce as many women as possible to aviation during the Centennial event.

She said: "Soaring and sailplanes provide the least expensive way to fly!  In these tough economic times, I can go for a flight, during soaring season, for about $40 a day.  At some clubs you can fly for just a yearly membership."
